The M197 ECU is a quick and simple replacement for the Magneti Marelli 5.9 or 5AM ECU which was fitted as standard to all of the following bikes. No re-wiring is necessary, just plug it in and load the correct maps from the library
Your ECU will come loaded with a bench test map unless you specify via the options menu that you wish us to pre-load one for you. The will still however need the TPS to be set using the cable and Microtec software.
This product is not supplied with a programming cable and is specifically aimed at users who already have access to this.
