Tightails Subframe '17+ Yamaha R6

The TighTails subframe for the Yamaha R6 offers an extra rigid seating platform. Built from 6082 Aluminum and heavy duty TIG welds make the extra strong/lightweight subframe possible.

Side-by-side comparison! The Stock subframe is cast magnesium which is 33% lighter than cast aluminum. In exactly the same applications, magnesium is stronger and lighter. The TighTails subframe is designed using tube aluminum vs a cast design. This makes the subframe heavier than its stock counterpart but stronger.
